There are four basic types of hearing aid.
CIC - '' Completely in the Canal ''
ITC - '' In the Canal ''
ITE - '' In The Ear ''
BTE - '' Behind the Ear ''
RITE - " Receiver in the Ear"
OTE - "On the Ear"
CIC is virtually invisible. ITC can be customized to snugly fit inside your ear. ITE can offer more power than smaller aids, but are visible. And BTE (the most common type) fits in snugly behind the ear. We only use the very BEST aids and brands available, including Phonak and Oticon.
Each Aid can be attached to a computer where we custom design the ''shape'' of the sound you will hear. This means that the end result will be the absolute BEST that you are able to hear. You hear what you actually *WANT* to hear, and not the things you don't. Too much bass in that music bother you ? not a problem. If you suffer from tinitus (ringing in the ears), we can also offer treatment to reduce, or even remove that awful whine sound.
