Part 1 :
In order to successfully perform this test, you need
to set a few things up on your pc. Ideally perform this test using headphones.
This test is designed for use in Internet Explorer 5+
other browsers may require a plugin in order to hear
the sound.
Ok, now play some music through your speakers or headphones at the volume you find most comfortable,
Now, stop the music.
To your left you can see 4 player controls. Each controller will play 3 seconds of sound. Play them as many times as you wish, then answer the question below each one.
The 4 frequences used (500hz, 1000hz, 2000hz, 4000hz) are most typical of a good standard of hearing, if you cannot hear some of them, or have difficulty, ** DO NOT ** increase the volume of your speakers to compensate.
